Filmmakers

Open to all filmmakers, from students to seasoned professionals, the BDFF is a small but punchy event which aims to gather filmmakers with activists, defenders, community organizations and indigenous groups, using film as a catalyzing point of strength and influence. The opening night will feature a red carpet event at the Cineteca Nacional in Queretaro, followed by a series of subsequent events across a variety of cinemas and local community organizations in the region. Selected films will be shown to a variety of filmmaking professionals as well as be sited within a framework of socio-environmental activists and agents for change.

The BDFF is a festival which showcases real, on-the-ground change taking place across gloabl communities.
